Upcoming Nokia Phones 2014: Android-Running Nokia X Now Available In Malaysia For Only $120, Packs A Mixed Android-Windows Phone Platform, Dual-Core CPU, 3MP Fixed-Focus Shooter

Upcoming Nokia phones 2014: A week after the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and the Nokia X is now available, at least in one particular country - Malaysia.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Android-powered Nokia handset is now available for purchase in the Asian market, and with a super affordable price tag of only RM 399 or just above $120.

The Android handset is being offered by local retailer Storekini.com, which announced that the promo is only valid from March 5 up to 31.

We don't know what would happen after that date, perhaps a slight increase in pricing. But if you live in Malaysia and you have been waiting for this Nokia phone for years, then it surely won't hurt to try it.

Announced back at the MWC 2014, the Nokia X, together with the X+, and their bigger sibling, the XL, all pack meager specs such as dual-core CPUs, and decent cameras.

The Nokia X has a only a 3-megapixel fixed-focus snapper at the back, 4-inch WVGA screen, 4GB of internal memory and 512MB of RAM.

And while it does not support Google services nor have the Play Store preloaded, it can actually run all of these apps once you have gained root.
