Angelina Jolie Breast Operation Continues To Inspire Women; 'Maleficent' Movie Star 'Moved By The Support And Kindness' Of People

Angelina Jolie's breast operation is one of the tough challenges which the Pitt-Jolie family faced last year. The 'Maleficent' actress needed to undergo a double breast removal surgery for preventive measures.

In her interview with E! Online, Angelina Jolie's breast operation has been asked to which the actress responded: "I'm very happy I made the decision. I was very fortunate to have great doctors and very, very fortunate to have a good recovery and have a project like 'Unbroken' to have something to be really focused on, to be getting healthy for, and to be able to just get right back to work."

Brad Pitt's lady love directed 'Unbroken' which entailed her to stay in Australia with the Pitt-Jolie kids. Apart from work, the family has been spotted several times enjoying what the country has to offer.

The  'Tomb Raider' star also reveaed to Entertainment Weekly how her breast operation helped her in reaching out to other women: "Wherever I go, usually I run into women and we talk about health issues, women's issues, breast cancer, ovarian cancer. I've talked to men about their daughters' and wives' health. It makes me feel closer to other people who deal with the same things and have either lost their parents or are considering surgeries or wondering about their children."

"I was very, very moved by all the support and kindness from so many people," she gushed.

Jolie's current project is the Disney film 'Maleficent' which will hit theater screens on May 30. The fantasy film likewise stars her youngest daughter, Vivienne Marcheline.

According to Jolie, Vivienne is the only child who did not run away upon seeing the lead actress wearing her costume.  Despite the charming girl's short role as the young Princess Aurora, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie wouldn't want the Jolie-Pitt kids to be full-time actors and actresses.

"We think it's fun for our kids to have cameos and join us on set, but not to be actors.  That's not the goal for Brad and me at all. I think we would both prefer that they didn't become actors," Jolie said.
