Lindsay Lohan Guest Stars In '2 Broke Girls,' Returns To TV Career; 'Mean Girls' Actress Exploited In Oprah’s Reality Show?

Lindsay Lohan guest stars in "2 Broke Girls" this season, which marks her return to a TV career. The "Mean Girl" actress also has an upcoming reality show in Oprah Winfrey's network although but the documentary is now being plagued with criticism for allegedly exploiting Lindsay Lohan.

Lindsay Lohan's guest starring in "2 Broke Girls" was confirmed through her post on Twitter.

"2BROKEGIRLS & A "MEAN" ONE: Its true!! Excited to be back on set and work w/ @officialkat and @bethbehrs," Lindsay Lohan tweeted.

In the her guest appearance in "2 Broke Girls," Lindsay Lohan will play the character of Claire Guinness, a soon-to-be bride who tapped both Max (Kat Jennings) and Caroline (Beth Behrs) to bake her wedding cake. Of course, she is not exactly the world's greatest bride.

Lindsay Lohan is trying to resume her TV career with guest appearances in "Eastbound & Down" and "Anger Management." She also starred in "Liz & Dick," a biopic about Elizabeth Taylor and her husband.

She will also star in the documentary series "Lindsay" which will air on OWN on March 9. The film earned unwanted attention when Oprah Winfrey, who helped promote the show, was accused of exploiting Lindsay Lohan.

A video of Oprah giving Lindsay Lohan some tough love was aired where she tells the troubled actress: "You really have to cut the bulls-t, you really do."

"My truth is that I really do want you to win. If that isn't what you want, I'm okay with that. I will tell these guys (the crew) to pack up and leave today," Oprah adds.

But her actions didn't sit well with Jamison Monroe, Jr., CEO of Newport Academy, who said that being in the limelight could be devastating for Lindsay Lohan's path to recovery.

As he told FOX411: "Holding anyone in early sobriety under a microscope, with constant media attention could trigger another relapse. I do think Oprah's (motives) come from a place of love and compassion, but she is not a clinician."

Patrick Wanis, a human behaviour expert chimed in: "If Oprah really wanted to help, she wouldn't need to employ cameras."
