Shailene Woodley's movies for 2014 might have more daring roles now that the 22-year-old actress has opened up about her sexual preference in terms of dating.

According to the 'Divergent' movie actress, her standard for falling in love is not based on someone's sexuality but his or her overall persona: "I fall in love with human beings based on who they are, not based on what they do or what sex they are."

One of Shailene Woodley's movies, 'White Bird', will have a more mature theme. In the said film, the brunette beauty will be playing the role of a 17-year-old woman who tries to seduce a 40-year-old man.

"When somebody's doing a sex scene and they're wearing a bra and underwear, that's not how it happens in real life. If I'm going to say yes to a movie where this is necessary, then I'm going to bring truth to that situation," Woodley said about the film.

Even if 'Divergent' is tagged as the upcoming rival of 'The Hunger Games', Woodley and Jennifer Lawrence appear to be very close in real life. 'The Fault in Our Stars' actress revealed that she once sought Lawrence's advice about the film.

"I talked with Jennifer. [She] said: "You must do it. You will not regret it for a second. Yes, there are some hard things, but there are so many beautiful things that will come from an opportunity like this,"' Woodley said.

According to the doe-eyed beauty, she was at first hesitant to accept the role of Tris Prior for the lengthy commitment that it entailed. Since she just finished 'The Secret Life of an American Teenager' which lasted for five years, she wasn't sure if she could handle another commitment.

Despite her misgivings, Woodley signed the contract for 'Divergent' whose first film will be shown on March 21.
