Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult's relationship might be constantly exposed to the glare of publicity but it doesn't mean that the 24-year-old actor's yearning for privacy will disappear.

In an interview with The Daily Mail, the 'Jack and the Giant Slayer' actor explained why he refused to associate his personal life with his onscreen life: "I always find it odd when people look into my personal life. I'm pretty private. The more people know about you and your personal life, or see you out and about, getting a photograph taken, the more difficult it is for them to imagine you playing a character. I don't want people to just associate my work with my personal life."

Despite his worry, nothing can stop Hoult from escorting her girlfriend at the 2014 Oscars last Sunday (March 2) at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California. Lawrence's beau was clad in a black and white tuxedo paired with a bow tie whereas the 23-year-old 'Hunger Games' actress donned a red Dior gown.

Hoult appears not to be affected with how Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson's tandem. Despite the success of Joshifer, the lead stars of the bestselling franchise have their own love lives. Hutcherson has been linked to several women including Chloe Bridges and Claudia Traisac. He likewise admits having a crush on Emma Watson.

Recently, The Sun reported that Hoult and Lawrence wanted to purchase a particular house in United Kingdom: "They loved the house as soon as they saw it. They know it's not realistic at this point in their thriving careers to live in the UK, but they want a bolthole across the pond. Jen loves the English way of life and as they are now serious again, it makes sense to look into buying somewhere."
