The Good Wife Season 5 Tackles [SPOILERS] Cerebral Palsy And Medical Marijuana As Episode 15 Debuts Matthew Goode And The Return Of Hunter Parrish!

As "The Good Wife" season 5 prepares for its mid-season return, spoilers regarding a future case and new guest stars have surfaced.

Spoilers confirm that a new character will be introduced soon played by actor Matthew Goode, and now we know he will appear on the March 23 episode as a State's Attorney prosecutor.

"He's a witty intellectual who is very much Will's peer. They compete against each other in the court with the Hunter Parrish case," says Robert King to TVLine. "He's like a likeable foil. You like him, but he also applies an intellect and a wit to his prosecution."

This, of course, means that Hunter Parrish will also return as Jeffery Grant in episode 15 as well.

“He’s an excellent prosecutor, and has fun in court.”

Meanwhile, "The Good Wife" season 5 episode 20 will feature a storyline involving a Libertarian grad student with cerebral palsy and a medical marijuana card.

Spoilers also confirm that while Kalinda has received less-than-desired screentime, there will be more development between her and love interest Detective Villette (Jordana Spiro).

According to spoilers by TVLine, the Detective will stick around, at least for the time being.

“She is still around, though I don’t know exactly how that’s going to play out," admitted series co-creator Michelle King.

“I wouldn’t necessarily say that [Jenna] is ‘the one and only’ [for Kalinda], but there’s definitely chemistry there.”
