The Wanted Breakup Evident In Latest Radio Guesting? Max George Missing As Boy Band Promotes Tour

The Wanted breakup reports might have caused tension among the boys as Max George was noticeably absent during the group's latest radio guesting on March 3 as the boy band promoted its concert tour.

DJ Max of Capital FM grilled the boys on who was the best pancake tosser as well as what the future holds for them, particularly when their rep confirmed The Wanted breakup.

During the radio guesting, Siva Kaneswaran, Nathan Sykes, Jay McGuiness and Tom Parker gamely answered questions from DJ Max to promote their tour which stars on March 14 at Echo Arena in Liverpool and end on April 1 in Nottingham.

Max George, however, was nowhere to be found sparking speculations of tension still ruling over the group after The Wanted breakup has been much publicized.

According to entertainmentwise.com, however, Max George was absent for the radio guesting because of tonsillitis. He could also be nursing a broken heart after breaking up with hot model Nina Agdal.

Both Max George and Siva Kaneswaran had a little bit of media tiff after an interview made by the former with the Sun revealed tension between the boys which led to The Wanted breakup.

"I wouldn't say he betrayed us but he didn't communicate enough with us. There was a major lack of communication. It was disappointing, that's all it was," Siva Kaneswaran said.

Jay McGuiness also talked about the difficulties of having a girlfriend while the limelight is always trained on them.

Unlike the other members of The Wanted, Jay McGuiness was extremely private about his relationships. Nathan Sykes also broke up with Ariana Grande while Siva Kaneswaran is already engaged to Nareesha McCaffrey. Tom, meanwhile, has a two-year relationship with Kelsey Hardwick.

The Wanted breakup was prompted by some of the band members' wanting to go solo.

In January, a statement was posted on The Wanted's official website which said:

"Tom, Max, Jay, Siva and Nathan have collectively decided to take time to pursue personal endeavours following the tour's conclusion.

"The band wants to stress to their fans that they will continue on as The Wanted and look forward to many successful projects together in the future.

"They thank their fans for their continued love and support and look forward to seeing them on tour."
