The campaign for a more 'global' Avengers took a giant step forward. While South Korea has been confirmed as a shooting location, the rumor that a South Korean actress will be part of the movie has also been confirmed.

However, the role she will play is still up for speculation. While the addition has long been rumored, there are some quarters who believe that the confirmation was precipitated by Scarlett Johansson's pregnancy.

The report from Comic Book Movie:

"After a long wait, I'm happy to be back with great news. I have a lot to do ahead of me, but for now, the words 'Welcome to the Marvel Universe' are amazing and kind of overwhelming. I was a fan of Marvel Comics, and if you really like something, looks like fate can make it happen.

Marvel always prohibits telling too much about the story. Her character is already decided and the scene is already written so we cast Kim Soo-Hyun, but we can't let you know about her character. We only can say that her character is a substantial supporting role."

The word 'substantial' is rather subjective, and the we can only find out when clues about the scene they're shooting in South Korea surface.

-Elizabeth Olsen was at the Miu Miu fashion show yesterday in Paris where she confirmed to Women's Wear Daily that principal photography on the Marvel sequel is just right around the corner. Speaking about her role as the Scarlet Witch, Olsen stated "she has mind-control powers and she's one of the most bad-ass characters; It's really cool."

-Meanwhile, actor Jeremy Renner who plays Hawkeye will allegedly   be part of the scenes shot on-location in Italy later in this month.

- Notorious Marvel movie scooper Elmayimbe of Latino Review took to Twitter to tease: "I wonder how Avengers: Age of Ultron will handle Black Widow being pregnant since in the script she is dating ************ :)" What do you think? Black Widow has had links with both Hawkeye and Captain America at some point. Perhaps the Captain America sequel will give more clues.
