Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 review, specs: The 8-inch Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 “shatters the mold in tablet design,” claims its manufacturer. Lenovo says that the device is comfortable to use than anything that came before and comes with an “epic battery life.”
Having an affordable price of $219 for its entry-level variant, the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 sports an MTK 8125 quad-core processor and is powered by an Android 4.2 OS and 1GB of RAM. Hard drive of the unit begins at 32 GB and has a 5MP camera and 1.6 front-facing camera. The unit has a 6000 mAh battery.
In terms of display, the 8-inch Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 is packing an 8-inch 1280 x 800 IPS display that’s effective enough for most things. It is, however, not the sharpest display available with its 189 ppi pixel density. Despite it though, the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 screen exhibits the qualities of an IPS LCD display that has impressed many - including neutral color reproduction, average viewing angles, and a modest brightness output.

It’s under the hood specs are far from first-class but is effective and useful enough to handle most tasks with ease. The gadget review site, however, noted that the device strains and cracks under pressure with more processor intensive stuff.
If there’s one key advantage that the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 holds, however, is its extended battery life. It effectively beats out all the other units in its category. Packing a hefty 6000 mAh battery, it can pull an impressive 13 hours and 23 minutes in a test by Phone Arena, more than enough for a full workday. It could well be an 8-inch tablet with the best battery life.
It’s low-price coupled with decent design, utilitarian features and impressive battery life, the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 is one useful tablet with all the right features.
