Gossip Girl might have no new episodes but Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester's friendship is still intact.  Since there is an abundance of Chuck and Blair's fans, did Westwick feel hurt when her former leading lady allegedly got married to Adam Brody?

"It's not my life. I love her. I think she's fantastic, and she's a good friend of mine. And whatever she does I wish her all the best," Westwick said to Us magazine.

In 2012, Westwick talked to E! Online about her feelings for Meester: "I'm madly in love with Leighton, so that's what helps on my behalf, maybe so much that she doesn't even have to be in love with me. I love enough, she's mine. I'm incredibly close with her, she's a lovely girl. I think she was 20 and I was 19 when we started the show and it's such a kind of development stage of young adulthood. And to grow up on the show and to go through that together, you know you're going to have a very strong bond. But she is a remarkable talent and there is just sometimes you can't put things into words with connections or sparks or when you're acting with someone. We've got the right pairing, I guess."

Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester's passion in Gossip Girl might be convincing but in real life, the two certainly have their own love interests. While the 'Montecarlo' actress is now a Mrs. Brody, Westwick was likewise seen enjoying a sushi date with an unnamed brunette beauty.

Prior to his mysterious date, Westwick had an on-off relationship with Jessica Szohr who played the role of Vanessa in Gossip Girl.

Meanwhile, Leighton Meester and Adam Brody have not yet commented about their rumored marriage. News about their nuptials circulated when the O.C. actor was spotted sporting a gold band.
