Lorde and Taylor Swift's recent closeness has sparked rumors about their real relationship status. Reports claim that Lorde's boyfriend James Lowe is becoming jealous with how his lady love spends much time with the 'Red' songstress.

In a recent interview with Australian radio show The Kyle and Jackie Show, the 'Royals' singer has been asked whether she's having an affair with Swift. Both hosts appear to be very determined to find out whether the teen singer is hiding something.

"I see your guys' pictures everywhere. Are you guys, like, uh, are you together now?" said the host. He immediately defended his question by saying: "Not together as in lesbians. I'm not talking about 'Ellen together'".

Instead of acting sweetly, Lorde retorted: "What do you mean you're not talking about 'Ellen together'? Is there something wrong with lesbians?" She was again about her connection with Swift but immediately ended the topic by saying: "Don't even try it, it's not working."

Despite such speculations, the brunette beauty's rep confirmed that the songstress is still very much in love with her boyfriend. The rep likewise dispelled speculations that Lorde's engaged because of the ring she was wearing.

Apart from her music commitments, Lorde might soon enter the beauty industry after hinting about her upcoming MAC cosmetics collection. In a conversation with The Cut last March 10, Lorde praised the famed cosmetic line which launched several celebrity collections such as Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, and Lady Gaga.

"MAC has a very clear aesthetic that has always felt fashion forward to me. So I was really excited to work with them on these products, which I use pretty much every day and night. I hope you will too," she said.

She likewise recalled her first experience with MAC: "I have loved MAC Cosmetics since I was a little kid. I remember saving up to buy my very first MAC lipstick [Snob] at 14, and it was used by about 20 of my friends!"
