New Android Phones 2014: Reader-Friendly Midia InkPhone Packs 4.3" Display, 1GHz Chipset, 512MB RAM, Weeks Of Battery Life, Could Cost Just Under $200

New Android phones 2014: Are you a Kindle lover who mostly use your devices for reading? If so, then you may want to consider another cheap alternative.

According to a report from GSM Arena, the Midia InkPhone will bring a reader-friendly screen that will work perfectly for ebook lovers.

In the report, the Android-powered handset would feature a 4.3-inch Pearl e-ink screen with 480 x 800 resolution, a 1GHz processor, Rockchip chipset, 512MB of RAM and Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

From the looks of it, the device is certainly on the low-end of the spectrum, and while it boasts just a 1,800mAh battery, the report claims that it could span for weeks of battery life. That's how battery efficient the InkPhone is.

Of course Midia's device is not the first on its kind in the market. Amazon has its Kindle slates while there is also the YotaPhone with a higher spec range.

But for people who want to try something new, and are looking for a device that supports the basic file formats for ebooks such as ePub, Mobi, and PDF, then the Midia InkPhone can be a decent buy.

The InkPhone may be released sometime in April in Germany and Poland for €140 or just under $200.
