Upcoming HTC Phones 2014: All New One's Dual Cameras Are For '3D Effects', Could Perform Better Than Most Flagships Today, Including Nokia's Lumias

Upcoming HTC phones 2014: The All New One launch is just a couple of weeks away, and from what we have been reading and hearing, it is slowly becoming the smartphone to beat this year.

But for the past months, we have been wondering how its purported dual cameras would work, and it is only a matter of time until we find out.

According to a report by GSM Arena, an Australian carrier has accidentally spilled the beans on what the dual cameras are for. In the brochure of local carrier Telstra, it explained that the cameras would enable owners to choose to focus point of shots, which would bring bokeh effects to images.

In the report, the cameras would also be able to create 3D effects, which mean it may be used for both the camera or for video.

For the past couple of years, Nokia has been constantly improving its Refocus app which has the same function. Similarly, other flagship devices from Samsung, LG and Sony have already used the same technology, though not as detailed as the one in the All New One.

With two cameras working together, HTC's handset could provide better quality and more features. That is, if it is able to let the feature work without problems.
