HTC One M8 Release Date: Full Specs Of New High-End Handset Appear In Sales Guide, HTC's 'All New One' To Pack 5" 1080p Display, 2.3GHz Quad-Core CPU, Snapdragon 801, 5MP Front-Facing Cam

HTC One M8 release date: For the past couple of months, we have been left wondering how the upcoming HTC flagship would look like. And now that we have seen it in a detailed video, several live shots, and even its UI, we can confirm that while it looks similar to the previous One, it has a personality of its own.

In a new report by GSM Arena, the specs of the unannounced device were leaked through a sales guide for retailers who are going to sell the HTC All New One.

From what we have seen in the guide, the Android-powered handset boasts a 5" display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.3GHz, a Snapdragon 801 chipset, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage.

While there are no exact specifications of the dual UltraPixel cameras at the back, at least we know that the front-cam will have 5MP, which is quite impressive and would appeal to people who love selfies.

Also on board is a microSD card slot, 2,600mAh battery, and possibly Android 4.4 Kit Kat out of the box.

In the sales guide, some HTC specific apps and features were also highlighted such as BoomSound, BlinkFeed, Sense TV, Sense TV Sports, and HTC Match.
