Disney Movie Descendants Hires Australian Teenage Actor Mitchell Hope To Play Beauty & The Beast’s Son Ben Ruling Over The ‘Idyllic Kingdom’

Disney movie "Descendants" is about to feature the offspring of the evil villains who taunted and frightened the most beloved Disney characters.

The Descendants is going to be Disney's original movie that will feature the now teenage children of the heroes and villains.

The film will be starred by Australian actor Mitchell Hope playing Ben, the son of Belle and Beast, who will be the next king of the kingdom, according to Hollywood Reporter.

"We were intrigued by Mitchell's natural acting style, boyish charm and winning personality," said Judy Taylor, Disney Channel's senior vice president of casting and talent, "and when we brought him to Los

Hope will be joining previously cast member Dove Cameron, who will be playing Mal, the daughter of Maleficent, the evil witch from the Disney Movie Sleeping Beauty.

Beast and Belle (of Beauty and The Beast) rule over an "idyllic kingdom" with a son of their own, who's waiting to take over the throne, according to Entertainment Weekly. In his first proclamation, the young prince looks to give some redemption to his not-so-well-behaved classmates Carlos (son of 101 Dalmatians' Cruella De Vil), Mal, (child of Sleeping Beauty's Maleficent), Evvie (daughter of Snow White's the Evil Queen) and Jay (son of Aladdin's Jafar).

They all attend the kingdom's prep school with offspring of other Disney favorites like The Fairy Godmother (from Cinderella), Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel and Mulan.

The children of Disney's villains are about to face a dilemma of whether to take the evil steps laid out by their parents or to follow the goodness in their hearts.

The famous High School Musical director will be directing Disney Movie Descendants with the script written by Josann McGibbon and Sara Parriott (The Starter Wife, Runaway Bride).

Mark Hofeling, another High School Musical veteran will be in charge of the production design for the Disney movie "Descendants."

Disney original movies franchises were able to top 5 of its 6 films in cable TV history, led by the mega-teen blockbuster High School Musical.

Disney Movie Descendants is about to premiere on the Disney Channel in 2015.

Carrie Fisher, has also revealed to TV Guide that she will be back for Episode 7 to reprise her role as Princess Leia, although this isn't the first time for the veteran Star Wars actress to claim such news.

Fisher revealed that she together with two other veteran actors Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill are getting ready for the filming on March or April, as the script has just recently been finished.

Both Ford and Hamill will be back to reprise their respective roles on the film, Ford as Han Solo while Hamill as Luke Skywalker.

"I'd like to wear my old hairstyle again, but with white hair" Fisher admitted to TV Guide, referring to Leia's iconic cinnamon bun hairdo.

"I think that would be funny," she quipped.

As far as Star Wars Episode 7 cast rumors go, the return of the three veteran actors on the film, are the most likely to become a reality, as it has previously been reported that this episode would focus on Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Han Solo, before they'll be given a proper send off.

With the film scheduled for release on December 18 next year, it's most likely that we'll be getting more revelations on the plot and casting of the film.
