Shailene Woodley Movies Better Than Kristen Stewart’s Films? ‘Divergent’ Actress Says ‘Twilight’ Is About A ‘Toxic’ Relationship Which Sends Wrong Message To Teens

There might be a brewing feud between Shailene Woodley and Kristen Stewart after the 'Divergent' actress criticized 'Twilight' for its unhealthy message to teenagers. While Woodley admits to asking 'Hunger Games' star Jennifer Lawrence for film advice, she might not feel doing the same thing to Stewart.

"Twilight, I'm sorry, is about a very unhealthy, toxic relationship. She falls in love with this guy and the second he leaves her, her life is over and she's going to kill herself! What message are we sending to young people? That is not going to help this world evolve," she bravely said.

For the past 2 years, the 22-year-old actress has created two romantic films. In 2013, she starred in 'The Spectacular Now' with Miles Teller whereas this June 2014, she will be starring with Ansel Elgort in 'The Fault in Our Stars'. Interestingly, both Teller and Elgort are also included in her upcoming March film 'Divergent' where her love interest is Theo James.

In an interview with Teen Vogue, Woodley admits being surprised to creating such type of films because her love life in reality is far from being colorful: "That's crazy! I never thought about that. I haven't had time to think about a relationship! I literally have not had a boyfriend in almost five years. I've never even hooked up with anybody I've worked on a movie with."

Potential suitors will be delighted to find out that Woodley isn't judgmental when it comes to her relationships. In a recent interview, she talked about her basis for relationships.

"I fall in love with human beings based on who they are, not based on what they do or what sex they are," she gushed.
