Top Android Phones 2014: 5.2" Sony Xperia Z2 Hits UK Market On April 11 And Costs £540 In Spite Rumors Of Supply Issues, Pre-Orders Still On-Going

Top Android phones 2014: At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last month, Sony unveiled its Xperia Z2 flagship, which has already been highly-anticipated by the company's fans.

And while the device still looks a lot bigger than it really is, Android fans who fell in love with Sony's design would still consider getting it, especially in its main market in the UK and Japan.

Pre-orders for the device began as early as a few days after the announcement, but there were no official release dates or pricing details yet. But now, here they are.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Sony Xperia Z2 will hit Europe, particularly the UK starting on April 11. For consumers in the UK, the Android-powered device will be priced at £540 for the SIM-free model.

Clove UK lists down the pricing and release on April 11 for the device, while Carphone Warehouse charges a little higher at £549.99 with the promise of delivering the device several days earlier, April 7.
