Upcoming Sony Phones 2014: Xperia E1 Launches In India At About €115, Has Dual-SIM Version, Packs 4" WVGA Display, Dual-Core CPU, 512MB RAM, 3MP Shooter

Upcoming Sony phones 2014: Announced at MWC in Barcelona, the Xperia E1 is certainly a handset targeted at the Sony and Android-loving mass market. Today, the device has officially been released and is now up for sale in India.

According to a report from GSM Arena, the Sony Xperia E1 costs INR 9,750 or just €115 for the dual-SIM version, while it strangely costs €3 higher for the single SIM variant. 

Anyway, the Android-powered handset is perfect for teens and students with its variety of color options. The Xperia E1 comes in black, white and purple. 

Meanwhile, the handset is priced significantly higher in Europe where the cheapest is at €144 from Amazon DE.

In case you missed the press event of Sony during the MWC, the Xperia E1 is an entry-level handset that boasts its dual stereo speakers in front. Full specs of the device include a 4-inch WVGA screen, a dual-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, Snapdragon 200, 512MB of RAM and a decent Adreno 305 for usual gaming and video processing. 

If you are new in the Android world and you want a capable smartphone, then the E1 is certainly a decent option.
