"Maleficent" star Elle Fanning said that she's proud of everything that sister Dakota Fanning has accomplished and how she's going back to the university in New York. In the same interview, the soon-to-be 16-year-old also gushed about her co-star Angelina Jolie.

"I'm so proud of everything she's accomplished and she made things so much easier for me when I was learning the business and she could teach me a lot of things," she said, via Yahoo Celebrity.

Elle Fanning, who stars in "Maleficent" with Angelina Jolie, also dismissed rumors she and sister Dakota Fanning are competitive as she described their relationship as "really friendly." While they have their own thing-with Dakota  more focused on school while she is building a career-they have a mutual connection.

"We both know what it's like to work on a set, what's going on when you make a movie. We get to visit each other on our sets - and then see each other's finished productions. I'd love to do something together. I'm always thinking about it," she added.

Radar Online earlier published a report that said Elle Fanning and Dakota Fanning were growing apart as her older sister was already bored with the limelight.

"Dakota is living off of the fortune she made as a child actor, instead of chasing after every big job under the sun," Radar Online quoted a source in December last year.

Meanwhile, Elle Fanning gushed about "Maleficent" co-star Angelina Jolie calling her the "coolest mom ever."

"I really admire how poised and relaxed she was. She doesn't get nervous or anxious about anything," she said. "She has so much natural ease and the ability to get into her character and then be completely normal afterwards."

Elle Fanning told Yahoo Celebrity that she's also impressed how Angelina Jolie could transform into the very mean Maleficent character and dote on her children after the take.

"Maleficent definitely has some evil sides to her and Angelina can look so mean and angry when she wants to. I'm glad she's very sweet and friendly in real life," she laughed.
