A broke Tori Spelling finally get a much needed good news after escaping a multi-million dollar lawsuit against her and cheating husband Dean McDermott over claims she stole the idea for her show.

Broke Tori Spelling reportedly settled the $60 million suit that would have broken her down further because of the amount involved and because she's already broke, Radar Onlinereported.

The gossip site revealed that Tori Spelling was hauled to court by three producers last summer when she stole their idea for her Oxygen reality show. In their claim, they pitched an idea for a show to Tori Spelling and a representative of her cheating husband Dean McDermott at the United Talent Artists Agency.

They were told that the production outfit as well as a broke Tori Spelling and cheating Dean McDermott were not interested. When the Oxygen show premiered, however, they noticed that it was similar to what they pitched.

The case was scheduled to go to trial on June 2, 2014.

Tori Spelling and her lawyers field a petition to junk the lawsuit due to the settlement made on January 21, Radar added who could not reveal the details of the agreement based on the court order.

Good news comes far and between for Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott. After his cheating ways was splashed all over the press, he went to rehab to help himself get over his addiction over booze and drugs.

A broke Tori Spelling, meanwhile, had to forgive him after Dean McDermott begged for forgiveness to take him back, according to the March 10 issue of Star. The actress' decision to take him back was for lack of choice because she's broke and she couldn't afford a messy divorce since they signed no prenup.

The couple has four children together, Liam, 6, Stella, 5, Hattie, 2 and Finn, more than year old.

"Even with her new TV series, Tori is scared she won't make enough money to take care of the kids alone," the source added.
