Tom Cruise's religion might be one of the reasons for his divorce with Katie Holmes but it does not mean that Scientology should be blamed why the brunette beauty's fashion business fell apart.

Recently, the closure of Holmes and Yang fashion label has been reported allegedly because of Jeanne Yang's penchant for the spotlight. One source claims that it is Yang who provides confidential information to the press about the Cruise family.

"Jeanne enjoys the spotlight way more than Katie does. Things have definitely soured between them. Katie's living in New York and Jeanne's living in LA, which hasn't made it easier," claims one insider to Page Six.

Another angle being attributed to the closure is Holmes and Yang's conflicting styles when it comes to business: "They have different approaches to absolutely everything: how to run the company, how to promote it and how to handle the press. The conflict isn't about any one thing, it's sort of about everything."

However, as opposed to such reports, the 'Dawson's Creek' actress told Elle UK her real reason for closing the couture house.

"I loved every minute of my time working on Holmes and Yang. I remain passionate about the design aesthetic we created, and am so happy with what Jeanne and I accomplished. However I am now concentrating on acting and motherhood, which did not leave the label the time and attention it deserved. I'm really thrilled that the final showcase for Holmes & Yang is in Elle - I had a blast at my shoot for the magazine. It is fantastic to feel like it's ending on a high," said the former Mrs. Cruise.

Yang has not yet commented about the business closure as well as the accusations about her.
