Jeopardy Champ Arthur Chu Defeated Tonight Causing A Stir Of Emotions About Iconic GameShow [VIDEO] 30-Year-Old Used New 'HopScotch' Strategy Winning Him Almost $300,000

Jeopardy champ Arthur Chu was defeated tonight after winning 12 episodes of Jeopardy in a row. Chu took home winnings of $297,200 after he was defeated by Diana Peloquin from Ann Arbor, Mich. Chu was entertaining and had an erratic approach to picking the Jeopardy categories, throwing off his opponents for 12 days with his new Jeopardy trategy that was more inpacted by how he chose them then the actual facts that Arthur knew.

Arthur Chu, 30, was defeated in third place Wednesday night winning $0 after risking and losing all of his money, $6,400, in final Jeopardy. Chu described himself as a 'mad genius, comedian, actor, and voice over artist.' He made Jeopardy Alex Trebek laugh with his cooky voiceovers and Trebek called his time on Jeopardy 'a great run.'

Arthur Chu, with his hopscotch like approach to the Jeopardy questions, played the trivia game much different that Ken Jennings, who had not ben defeated 74 times in a row, winning $2.5 million. Jennings played the iconic gameshow the conventional way, by choosing the categories form the easeiest questions to teh most difficult. Chu would search for the 'Daily Doubles' starting at the bottom, instead of playing the categories consecutively which worked for Chu just fine.

People say Chu was working on a different approach to Jeopardy, causing quite a stir. He was working on a strategy that forced the other opponents to tie, as described in the video above.

Well congrats to the 30 year old from Broadview Heights, Ohio who walks away with almost $300,000. The game that's been on since it  premiered on September 10, 1984 is forever changed with the new strategy that is more about picking the boxes than actually knowing the facts...so people think.

What did you think of Arthur Chu's strategy?
