Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany Says She's More Afraid Of Alison, Not Helena, Among All Clones; Find Out Why

Praises and love have been pouring for Tatiana Maslany for her convincing portrayal of seven different characters in BBC America's Orphan Black. To sum it up, the clone series was able to put him to greater heights, most notable of which was her Golden Globe Awards nomination for Best Actress. The Regina born actress rose to superstardom because of the clones and she is thankful for that. However, it's not all about gratefulness for her. Sometimes, she's afraid of one of the clones, too.

The show's main clones, Sarah, Cosima, and Alison were the current cover girls for the Entertainment Weekly and the 28-year old actress shared some trivia about her role..err, roles. Maslany told EW that among all the clones, she is more afraid of Alison, the soccer mom who lives a better life, financially, as compared to her other copycats.

"I've always played 10 years my junior," Maslany explained. "This is definitely the most adult role I've ever gotten to play. I think that's why I was so afraid of Alison, because she has two kids who are...you know, kids! And just that knowledge of what it is to be a mother is something I have never tackled on screen."

On gaining better following from the women community

With the fact that Tatiana is portraying women with different personalities and different roles in society, it is no surprise that most of her followers are women. She said that she's not aware with that kind of reception but feels elated for being viewed as a representative of the female population.

"To me, that kind of response from young women is really exciting because I don't know that they're represented on screen in this way very often, with this kind of multidimensional exploration of what it is to be a woman," Maslany said, according to ET Canada.
