'Lindsay' Does Mediocre For Ratings On Oprah OWN Network [VIDEO] Lohan Pilot Draws 892,000 Viewers But Expected To Rise Next Week

)

'Lindsay' Does Mediocre For ratings on Oprah OWN Network but mediocre ratings could be because of a lack of advertising for 'Lindsay.' I didn't even know Lindsay Lohan's docu-series aired last Sunday. And It's my job to know! The Lindsay docuseries that aired on OWN, Oprah Winfrey's new network, scored mediocre ratings compared to what Oprah's OWN network was anticipating. Oprah hired Lindsay to make her network a success, but she may be dissappointed in what Lindsay Lohan has to offer for her target demographic. The pilot episode of Lindsay drew a sad 892,000 viewers compared to Real Housewives of Atlanta on Sunday night drawing in almost 2 million viewers and even tanking ratings E! show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, scored ratings around 1.2 million viewers. But there may be hope for Lindsay ratings

The mediocre Lindsay stats may rise this following Sunday for episode 2 of Lindsay Lohan and Oprah Winfrey's joint OWN project. As a woman in the target age of 18-34, I did not even know when Lindsay was on and what number channel OWN network is currently on. But now that media have covered it, mocked it, and professed their love for watching Lindsay Lohan be 'herself' and Oprah WInfrey scold Lindsay, I have it DVRed and ready to watch Lohan this Sunday! And I know that anybody that tuned into E! shows like E! News, Chelsea Lately , Hello Ross, or read any Perez Hiltonesque website are so excited to tune in next week to Lindsay. Ratings will double for Oprah OWN! You'll see Ms. O and Lilo. I predict no more mediocre success, just yummy gold.

Lindsay, an eight-week documentary series on OWN network, was part of the deal whereby Oprah got the first interview after Lohan finished up her sixth rehab stint last July 30. Ratings for Lindsay marked the highest draw in six weeks for the dying OWN network. But Lindsay ratings can't compare to those of Oprah and Lohan's interview July of last year. But the Lindsay documentary premiere did better than mediocre in comparison to similar reality TV/documentary formats, ranking third behind Iyanla: Fix My Life and Life with La Toya.

The show with the highest ratings last Sunday was AMC's 'The Walking Dead' followed by 'The Talking Dead,' the show that does simply that...talks about 'The Walking Dead' episode.

Will you tune into Lindsay Lohan's show next week?
