Emma Watson Movie Roles Not Enough To Make Her Satisfied? 'Harry Potter' Actress Admits Being 'Jealous' Of Celebrity Newcomers

She is certainly one of the biggest stars of her generation but it does not mean that Emma Watson doesn't experience insecurity from time to time. Emma Watson's movie role as the geeky Hermione Granger in the 'Harry Potter' series launched her to fame 15 years ago.

However, the British actress does not seem to be completely happy. In an interview with Elle, she admits losing her childhood at an early age because of fame. 

For this reason, she cannot help but be jealous of other actresses who became famous when they were grown-ups already.

"There are all these actresses who have emerged in the last year or two, and they get to emerge as this complete human being. And I'm so jealous!" said the 'Perks of Being a Wallflower' actress.

She likewise shared one peculiar story about her idol, Elizabeth Taylor.

"She had her first kiss in character. On a movie set. It really struck me. I don't know how or why, but I had this sense that if I wasn't really careful, that could be me - that my first kiss could be in somebody else's clothes. And my experiences could all belong to someone else," said the Burberry ambassadress.

Realizing that she wanted to do lots of things, Watson temporarily stepped out from the limelight and enrolled to Brown and Oxford universities. For several years, she was able to enjoy the life of a normal girl that she even dated fellow student William Adamowicz. 

At present, Emma Watson's boyfriend is another Oxford Student, Matthew Janney.

After experiencing the life of a student, Watson then returned to acting. Her latest biblical film, 'Noah', will hit theater screens on March 28.
