Jared Leto Band Thirty Seconds To Mars Shows Support For Ukraine Protests; 'Dallas Buyer's Club' Actor Says 'No Price Too High To Pay' For Freedom

With the continuous Ukraine protests, more and more celebrities are expressing their support for the distressed country. Recently, Jared Leto's band 30 Seconds to Mars performed in Kiev. Even if many shows have been cancelled because of the Ukraine conflict, Leto and his band mates opted to continue the concert in order for them to encourage the citizens.

"Other bands have canceled their shows, but there was no f***ing way 30 Seconds to Mars wasn't going to be here in this beautiful city, in this great country here tonight," said the 'Dallas Buyer's Club' star to The Hollywood Reporter.

Apart from the musical performance, Leto did his best to publicly state his support for those who are involved in the uprising.

"You guys are in the midst of something really beautiful and it may be difficult, but there's no price too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself," said Leto.

He similarly shared an Instagram photo with the caption: "Independence Square Ukraine."
