Many 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' fans were surprised upon finding out that Kendall never used her last name in securing her modeling contracts. According to big sister Kim Kardashian, it is wrong to judge that Jenner is accepted to several runway shows because of her status.

Though she's just 18, Jenner has walked the Fashion Week runways in New York, Paris, and London. When she bagged contracts with Givenchy and Marc Jacobs, many thought that it was because of the family's connections in the fashion industry. Some were even saying that it's her connection to Harry Styles which made fashion events organizers interested in her.

"She went and auditioned, and she just goes by the name of Kendall, hoping that people won't think that she gets any [handouts]," said Kanye West's fiancée to Huffington Post.

She likewise claimed that like any other regular aspiring model, her sister observed the correct process: "She works her butt off! She just goes to casting after casting."

They might be half sisters but it will not stop Kardashian from being proud of her little sister.

 "I'm so proud of her that she - for her first Fashion Week- was able to achieve all the shows she was able to walk in. She's living her dream and it's so inspiring to watch her," she said.
