No 'Incredibles 2' Release Date Yet As Disney Confirms 'Cars 3,' Denies 'Pirates Of The Caribbean 5': Pixar To Release 'Finding Dory' And 'Inside Out' In 2015 Alongside 'Star Wars Episode 7'

Fans of the incredible "Incredibles" should rejoice, as an "Incredibles 2" has been confirmed by Disney, albeit without a release date.

"We believe completely in every movie we put out. If I can come up with a story that is as good or better than that first film, then I’d love to return to that world, but it would have to be story first," said director and writer of "The Incredibles" Brad Bird in 2007.

And now, it seems there is a story fitting for the Pixar/Disney world of sequels and prequels.

Joining "The Incredibles 2" will be "Cars 3" despite mediocre reviews.

However, Pixar has a long lineup of movies before "The Incredibles 2" and "Cars 3," so a release date won't be anytime soon.

2015 will see Pixar release two animated films in the same year for the first time, with "Inside Out" and "Finding Dory."

Disney also promises that more original movies will be released in the future rather than sequels and prequels, and the lack of a "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" confirmation seems to allude to that.

But the mother of all sequels, "Star Wars: Episode 7," gave away very little news during the Disney Investor's Meeting on Tuesday March 18, according to Time Magazine.

All we know is that the film “is set about 30 years after the events of 'Return of the Jedi,' and will star a trio of new young leads along with some very familiar faces.”

The movie is set to begin shooting in May, with a Christmas 2015 release date.

Stay tuned for a release date for "Incredibles 2" as more news arrive.
