‘Assassin’s Creed 5’ Release Date Possibly Set For October 2014? Ubisoft Executive Confirms Upcoming Title Set In 18th Century France; No Samurai For AC5

"Assassin's Creed 5" release date rumors heightened as new information about the game was revealed.

According to a report on Latino Post, Assassin's Creed 5 release date is likely to be set at some point between April 2014 and March 2015. Reportedly, Ubisoft previously announced that five titles will be released from the aforementioned timeframe, which include "Watch Dogs," "The Crew" and "Just Dance." It was mentioned in the publication site that an Assassin's Creed title is possibly one of the two remaining games to be released from April 2014 - March 2015.

More particularly, Assassin's Creed 5 release date may be set for October 2014 since the two former AC titles were both released on that month.

Furthermore, another big rumor emerges about Assassin's Creed 5. Accordingly, there will be two games - purportedly, the one is for the new generation of game consoles, PS4 and Xbox One, and the other game will be compatible to Xbox 360 and PS3.

As for official news about the upcoming Assassin's Creed 5, the head of Ubisoft Toronto, Jane Raymond, confirmed to AdWeek that samurais will not be featured in the game, according to a post on Inquisitr. Also, unlike what was previously expected, Assassin's Creed 5 location is not going to be set in Japan. Raymond also teased that the Assassin's Creed 5 setting "will feature her favourite historical era."

And recently, as posted on another post from Inquisitr, Assassin's Creed 5 location and time period will be 18th Century France. Screenshots shown on a Twitter post from GameRant also revealed landmarks in Paris.
