Expect more upcoming Xbox One games to run in 1080p.

Owners of the recently-released game console from Microsoft can expect more upcoming Xbox One games that will render in a resolution of 1080p. The director of development for Microsoft Xbox, Boyd Multerer, said that he is expecting that developers of upcoming Xbox One games will be able to reach that resolution. Particularly, as posted on Gamespot, Multerer shared:

 I fully expect that to happen. The [graphics processing units] are really complicated beasts this time around. The hardware is basically baked, and what comes next is people discovering better software techniques to take advantage of it, especially in the ordering of the data so it flows through all the caches correctly, and I think there's a lot of opportunity there.

Multerer also said that users of Xbox One can look forward to "fairly large improvements in GPU output as people really tune these data sets now to get maximum use out of their GPUs"

Moreover, as posted on JoyStiq, the console users can expect 25 upcoming Xbox One games to be added through the ID@Xbox independent developer games program. The post stated that Microsoft is "trying to help streamline console development to bring a "diverse array" of games to the Xbox One."

Chris Charla, the ID@Xbox Games Director shared:

"Our goal is to make the process as easy as possible so developers can focus on what matters most: creating the games you're beginning to see today!"
