Upcoming ZTE Phones 2014: Chinese Phone Maker To Unleash 6.44" Monster Smartphone, Nubia X6 Specs Include Quad-Core CPU, 2GB RAM, 8MP Shooter

Upcoming ZTE phones 2014: Just a day after Oppo unveiled its premium high-end Find 7 flagship, another Chinese manufacturer wants to follow in the company's footsteps of shaking the market.

No, this smartphone does not have a 50MP camera, nor does it boast a 16-core chipset, but it packs a whopping 6.44-inch screen.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the ZTE Nubia X6 just appeared on Chinese website Tenaa and flaunted some of its specs, which are pretty decent.

For some time now, the Sony Xperia Z Ultra has been alone in the 'super' phablet category, but it looks like it will have a tough match with the ZTE Nubia X6.

In the Tenaa listing, the upcoming ZTE phone boasts a TFT LCD screen with 1080p resolution, a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.7GHz and 2GB of RAM.

While there are no additional info about the chipset, we predict that it would be a MediaTek brand.

Other specs include an 8-megapixel camera which supports optical image stabilization, and a 'super zoom' feature which probably works similarly to the sensor of Oppo's Find 7.

The Nubia X6 runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, though that may still change at launch.

Knowing ZTE, this 6.44-inch phablet could fall in the $250-300 price category, which is still pretty cheap for a device with these specs.
