Blink 182 Tour 2014: Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus And Travis Barker Ready For New Album And New Tour; Will Join Motley Crue, Megadeth And Weezer For Quebec Festival

Blink 182 Tour: Blink 182 will be headlining rock, heavy metal and punk festival Amnesia Rockfest on June 20-21 in Montebello, Quebec. The band will be joined by Motley Crue, Alice and Chains, Megadeth, Weezer and many other heavy metal and rock bands. This will be the ninth installment of the said festival.

In recent news with the punk band, Travis Barker recalls every detail of what happened with him during a fatal plane crash that happened to him and his friends in 2008 that nearly cost his life, in his upcoming autobiography that he would call, "Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death and Drums, Drums, Drums".

The book will talk about the traumas that the drummer experienced and how he overcame the hardships and is expected to be out in June.

In other news, Blink 182 has recently excite fans with a teaser of what looks like to be new tracks as bassist Mark Hoppus has recently posted a picture in his Twitter account of recorded tracks with the caption 'Them blink-182 demos'.

The band is expected to work with their new album and is expected to tour once the new album is done. The band targets the new record to be done before they headline the Reading and Leeds festival this year.

Bassist of the band Mark Hoppus said: "We are coming with new material. We go into the studio after the holidays, and the goal is to have an album out in time for the festival."

Blink-182's latest release was the 'Dogs Eating Dogs' EP in December 2012. The band split from their label Interscope in 2011.

The last tour Blink 182 went in was the Neighborhoods tour in 2011, which was also the 20th Anniversary tour of the band where they were writing and recording their last recorded album but canceled the tour in Europe midway to finish the album they were working on.

"It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce our planned 2011 European Summer tour has been rescheduled. When we booked the tour last year, we were confident that we would have the new album out before the Summer. Turns out we were mistaken as the album is taking longer than we thought and won't be out till later this year. We hoped we would have some new songs to play rather than do another 'greatest hits tour' which you all saw last Summer. As much as we know our fans would be cool with that, we feel that we owe you guys something new when you spend your money to come see us. Frankly, it's what needs to continue for us to remain vital. The three of us are working very hard to do what we set out to do when we re-formed...get a new blink-182 album recorded. Apologies to all of our fans who have bought tickets and were looking forward to the Summer shows but we'll be back soon with the rescheduled dates in Summer 2012, have a new album out and be able to play new songs for you all. Thanks for all of the continued support and understanding," Tom DeLonge said.
