Upcoming Android Tablets 2014: Samsung's 10.5" Slate With AMOLED Display And QHD Resolution Appears In Benchmark, Specs Include Octa-Core Exynos Chipset, 3GB RAM
Upcoming Android tablets 2014: While Samsung has dozens of Android tablets with varying sizes and specs in the market today, it has only one that has an AMOLED display - the Galaxy Tab 7.7, in 2011.
Fortunately, several rumors are now pointing to an upcoming Galaxy tablet that will boast an AMOLED display and high resolution.
In a report by TechnoBuffalo, a 10.5-inch tablet has been spotted in GFXBench benchmark, and it looks like it is from the Korean tech giant.
The Android-powered tablet reportedly boasts an AMOLED display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1600) resolution. Those specs are pretty high-end so we expect the device to get some serious processing and graphics features as well.
The 10.5-inch Samsung slate is also tipped to pack an octa-core Exynos 5 chipset, 11GB of free internal memory, a 2.7GB RAM, a 7-megapixel camera at the back and a 2MP front cam.
However, the report claims that the final version of the device could have a 3GB RAM and 8MP shooter instead. The device may also run on the latest Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat version.
This rumored Samsung tablet is certainly on the higher-end of the spectrum, but in an overcrowded Android tablet market, can this device still stand out?
