The Pixar Theory On Toy Story: Emily, The Girl Who Abandoned Cowgirl Jessie Is Actually Andy’s Mom? Movie Director Lee Unkrich Reacts

The Pixar theory on Toy Story has been recently creating a buzz with the known Pixar Detective Jon Negroni, yes the one who claims that all Pixar movies are connected in one universe, revealing the supposed identity of Andy's mom, with the article entitled "The True Identity of Andy's Mom In 'Toy Story' Will Blow Your Mind"

The story behind "Toy Story" according to Negroni is that Andy's mom is actually the girl in the second installment of the franchise who originally owned Jessie the Cowgirl, who eventually abandoned her, which was shown in the flashback.

The little girl who abandoned Jessie was Emily and because the name of Andy's mom was never mentioned in the films make it more interesting for the fans of "Toy Story," especially now that Negroni has pointed it out.

Negroni also pointed out some interesting facts shown in the film, which what may have had led him to the Pixar theory on Toy Story - Andy's mom being the real owner of Jessie.

"It all started with a hat."

According to Jon Negroni one of his associates or whom he fondly call as "Pixar Theory Intern" came to him with the "crazy proposition" to which he agreed upon.

No one really cared about Andy's hat, nobody even bothered questioning why wasn't it the same with Woody's. But Negroni's eyes were sharp enough to notice it and question why was it different with Woody's.

Surprisingly, Negroni was able to point out that Andy's hat and Jessie's hat are actually identical apart from the white lace around the center of the hat, as you can see on the pictures below:

The third photo below is taken at Emily's room where Jessie is in the bed with Emily's hat, very similar to what Andy has been wearing in the movies. Also, Emily's room was very old-fashioned as pointed out by Negroni, perhaps this was taken years before Andy was even born.

In addition, Negroni also mentioned that Woody is a very old toy, this was also mentioned in the Toy Story 2 movie. There was a scene in the film that Woody doesn't even recall that he is a collector's item, something of value and which was made during the 1950s.

The Pixar Theory "specialist" even speculated that Andy's father could have owned Woody.

However, Toy Story 2 co-director and the director of Toy Story 3, Lee Unkrich doesn't seem convinced with the idea.

He took to Twitter to somehow mock the Pixar theory on Toy Story by re-tweeting a rather crazier thought about the film:

"@_AdamBarker_: Hey, you know I heard that the Motel Manager in Toy Story of Terror is really Andy's dad."

Although, he didn't diss the idea on Andy's mom owning Jessie, it seems that his reaction is enough to assume that this is not true, or could he just be shrugging the idea that seems have interesting connection.
