Robin Thicke's divorce to Paula Patton might not happen as the "Baggage Claim" actress has not called in lawyers yet and the "Blurred Lines" singer continues to try to win her back.

However, despite his efforts, "Robin has not been convincing enough for her to bring him back into her life," TMZ reported.

"We're told Paula is saying the same thing she's said since she threw in the towel late last month - that he needs to prove he can be a good husband," the source added.

Paula Patton, 38, reportedly wanted to divorce Robin Thicke, 37, over his apparent cheating ways. They couple were high school sweethearts before breaking up earlier this year after almost 10 years of marriage. They were married in 2005.

But Paula Patton admonished Robin Thicke when he reportedly told him: "I can't believe you think sending all these presents is going to make everything all better."

Accordingly, Paula Patton was insulted by the idea that she can be bought with expensive gifts. "He knows what it's going to take, and it's nothing he can buy with money," the source added.

Another factor that could avert Robin Thicke's divorce to Paula Patton was the "Blurred Lines" singer's effort to spend time with their only son, three-year-old Julian.

Per TMZ, Paula Patton is at least pleased that the divorce rumors drama has not really changed Robin Thicke's relationship with their son as he takes time out of his busy schedule to have quality time with Julian.
