Game of Thrones Season 4 Spoilers: Maisie Williams Hasn’t Read the Game of Thrones Books Yet, But That’s Not Because She Dropped Out of School

Game of Thrones Season 4 Cast Interview and Spoilers: Maisie Williams was just 12 when she joined the cast of Game of Thrones. She was on her way to her GCSEs, that's British educational talk, when she was given a chance she could not turn down.

Maisie Williams was on her way to be a proper public school girls when she jumped off the track to play the bow and arrow wielding tomboy Arya Stark on Game of Thrones.

Maisie Williams' mother says "I know a lot of people wouldn't agree with that," but how can you argue with success.

Maise Williams says, SPOILER ALERT, that her Game of Thrones character is going to be less likable on Season 4. Williams sayd "I don't want people to like her anymore, almost. I want people to realize that actually she's not the same anymore. You can't root for her forever, because she's not there to be your favorite character. That's not what she's there for. She's real."

Game of Thrones' Anya Stark talked to Zap2it about how her character has been getting darker.

Maisie Williams, who is only 16, though she plays the 11-year old daughter of Catelyn Stark and the sister of Robb Stark, who are gone now and yet, Williams said, "She feels nothing. She's not happy, she's not sad, she's not grieving, she's not vengeful. She's just nothing."

Williams told Zap2It "People go down bad paths and they make bad decisions, but it's always justified in their head. I want the audience to differentiate that and not just be like, 'Oh, it's Arya, we love her.' Because actually look at what Arya's doing. She's being eaten away from the inside out, and she's not stopping it."

Williams says "Funnily enough, this is exactly why I love Arya Stark. Not because she can use a sword, not because I'm comfy with all her decisions, but because she's evolved into such a complicated, compelling mess. It's the same reason why I love watching Cersei, too. The difference being that I want Arya to have something go right, and I want Cersei to fall into a nest of vipers. I haven't read the books. Don't tell me."
