Upcoming Android Tablets 2014: Display Maker AOC Unveils 3 Budget Slates, All Boast 1.6GHz Quad-Core CPU, 5MP Rear Shooters, 3MP Front-Facing Cams

Upcoming Android tablets 2014: In case you are looking for a device with an Android experience but you do not think you can shell a whole lot of money for it, then you may want to check out these three new options.

In a report by Android Community, known display maker AOC has released three budget Android slates which measures 7, 8, and 10.1 inches respectively.

While AOC is not particularly famous for its mobile devices, the fact that it is a reliable hardware manufacturer is proof that it can produce high quality and durable devices at affordable price ranges.

All three Android tablets would run on quad-core Rockchip RK3188 clocked at 1.6GHz, and 1GB of RAM. The AOC slates would also pack a 5-megapixel camera at the back, and a 3MP front-facing cam.

While the 7 and 10.1-inchers get a higher resolution screen and Wi-Fi connectivity only, the 8-inch version gets a lower 1280 x 800 display and supports 3G connectivity as well.

It is not clear whether the Taiwanese manufacturer wants to market its products outside of its home market and China, but we'll bring you more details when they arrive.
