Grapevines regarding Minecraft PS4 release date continue to emerge online.

According to a post on The Epoch Times, one theory surfacing online is that Minecraft PS4 release date might happen after the launch of the Xbox One version of the open-world sandbox game. As posted on the site, one reason for this theory about Minecraft PS4 release date is that "it's easier to port the game to the Xbox One's architecture because it's already been ported to Xbox 360."

However, a post on The Fuse Joplin shared that the gaming community are expressing contradictions against reports saying that the Minecraft PS4 version might come later than the Xbox One edition. One of the reasons highlighted the impressive market performance of the PS4 console. The post reads:

There is an equal chance for Minecraft PS4 to make its way to the store on the same day because the new console race is really high and great news is that Sony's platform is leading it. The Playstation 4 console witnessed massive sales during the first two months of 2014 even though the huge list of exclusive titles are yet to make their way to the platform. It is leading not only in terms of product sales but also the number of games that has been sold since its launch last year is high as well.
