Kourtney And Khloe Take The Hamptons? Kardashians Set Reality TV In Millionaires Community But Faces Social Media Backlash

Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian Take the Hamptons is already generating a lot of attention although it's not the good kind as the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" spinoff on the millionaires community received social media backlash.

MailOnline said that the "Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons" has earned social media backlash from wealthy residents, with some even threatening the move out because the presence of the reality stars will dumb down the place. Ouch!

Steven Tartakoff wrote on Twitter: "there goes the #neighborhood The Hamptons get worse: Kardashians coming to the East End nyp.st/Pozftl"

Mollie Moroney added: "The Kardashians are opening a store in The Hamptons. If they come near WHB, I will relocate."

Sarah Abram chimed in: "Nooooooo. Nothing could make the summer worse than the kardashians doing a show in the Hamptons. NO!"

"Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons" will continue the adventures of the two sisters after taking on Miami, which earned enough good ratings that justified another stint, MailOnline said. This time, however, the two sisters will take their adventure on the affluent beachy neighborhood.

But instead of a rousing welcome, "Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons" was greated with social media backlash.

The editors of the community website Hamptons.com, Nicole Barylski and Nicole B. Brewer, website publisher, said that "Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons" will affect the local economy one way or the other, RadarOnline said.

"Having the Kardashian family spotted out and about in the Hamptons is not new news. They also aren't the first reality stars to film out here. We've had the "Real Housewives" franchise film out here for years," the editors said.

However, they said that it's different this time around because of the "fact that they're going to put down roots out here" so it's going to hae an impact on the economy.

"People will either decide to avoid the Kardashian store completely which could affect the surrounding stores," they told Radar. "Or on the flip side you could have the place so completely and utterly mobbed that hopefully the businesses around it will benefit from the overflow."
