While Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev's back together news keep on circulating, the 35-year-old actor indirectly denied the news by cuddling up with his former girlfriend, Maggie Grace.

Recently, Somerhalder reunited with Grace at the Paleyfest 'Lost' reunion. The 'Taken' actress even posted an Instagram photo of her being kissed on the forehead by Nina Dobrev's ex-boyfriend.

Just last weekend, the 'Vampire Diaries' cast went to the Paley Center in Los Angeles, California to promote the CW flick. Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev's fans kept on asking if Damon and Elana would soon film a kissing scene in the rain.

Somerhalder quickly shunned the fan's wishes: "First of all, it's really cold in Georgia, so I don't think that's such a good idea. It was below 30 degrees, and it got so cold the muscles in my jaw froze and I couldn't speak. I looked like I had Bell's palsy."

The Canadian beauty also supported her co-star's reasoning as to why Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev's kiss won't happen: "I got icicles in my hair and I got really sick."

Meanwhile, things in Mystic Falls keep on getting exciting. Damon and Elena's relationship is still being tested. After their latest break-up, the two realized that they'd be willing to fight for their relationship. However, Katherine got in the way, took over Elena's body, and parted ways with Damon for good. Latest 'Vampire Diaries' spoilers hint that Damon and Elena will come up with an interesting agreement.

Somerhalder believes that there is one thing which prevents Damon and Elena from having a mature conversation: "When you have grown-up conversations, you have to put your big boy pants and big girl pants on and have the conversation. They keep taking their pants off, and that's what gets in the way of the grown up conversations."
