NY Teen Accepted To All 8 Ivy League Schools Becomes Online Sensation; Which University Should He Choose?

Securing a notch in an Ivy League school is inarguably challenging for high school seniors but what will a student do if he got accepted to 8 Ivy League schools? Such is the sweet dilemma being faced by 17-year-old Kwasi Enin who received acceptance letters from Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Darthmouth, Harvard, Penn, Princeton, and Yale.

Each elite university is known for its stringent standards and only accepts five to fifteen percent among the total percentage of the applicants.

William Floyd High School guidance counselor Nancy Winkler can't be prouder of Enin's accomplishment: "It's a big deal when we have students apply to one or two Ivies. To get into one or two is huge. It was extraordinary."

Enin is a first generation Ghanaian who ranks 11th in his class which comprised of 647 students. His SAT score is 2,250 over 2,400. Apart from taking 11 AP courses, the aspiring cardiologist and neurologist also does volunteer duties for the local hospital's radiology facility.

As a son of two immigrant nurses, Enin told NY Daily News about his high respect for physicians: "A doctor is a community leader, a protector, someone who people turn to...when they need help."

Which elite university will he eventually choose?

According to Enin, the university which will offer the greatest financial grant will  be his major consideration. Princeton's offer is currently the most generous although other universities such as Harvard and Columbia haven't made their offers yet.
