Miley Cyrus Bangerz Tour In Boston Filled With Tears, Not Scandals; 'Adore You' Lyrics Singer Dedicates Emotional Song For Dog Floyd

Miley Cyrus' Bangerz tour might have been making headlines because of the former Disney star's scandals but last Wednesday's (April 2) concert in Boston, Massachusetts was far from festive. While the 21-year-old performer tried her best to enliven the stage, she broke down when she paid tribute to her dog Floyd who recently passed away.

"It's gonna be hard for me on this next song. I'm not sounding myself, I don't feel myself. But I just wanna do one song," she told the Miley Cyrus Bangerz tour attendees.

The 'So Undercover' actress explained the reason for her somber emotion: "I'm sure you guys already know, but the reason that I'm so upset is my dog - I shouldn't say he was my favorite but he was my favorite - he passed away. I just wanna do a song for him. We used to always listen to Fleetwood Mac together. It's his favorite song so I wanna do this song for Floyd. This song is 'Landslide.'"

While singing, Cyrus wasn't able to hide her grief. At the end of the song, the touched audience met her with applause. Prior to Miley Cyrus' Bangerz tour in Boston, she announced Floyd's death on her Twitter page.

She described herself to be "miserable" and "broken" because of her pet pooch's death. She also uploaded a photo of her kissing the Alaskan Klee Kai with the caption:  "I know I don't mean it but I wish he would've taken me with him ... this is unbearable. What am I gonna do without him?"

Sensing that her emotions might get in the way of her performance in Boston, she apologized in advance but promised that she would do her best.
