"Maleficent" star Elle Fanning was resplendent in a shoot with Teen Vogue as she rocked a series of trendy outfits for magazine. She is definitely the "it" fashion girl these days as she also graced the cover of Marie Claire's May 2014 cover. Her equally fashionable sister Dakota Fanning, who feels protective of the 16-year-old, might look on approvingly at where her career is going on so far.

Elle Fanning, who co-stars Angelina Jolie in "Maleficent," wore a lemon embellished dress that was described by MailOnline as "Eastern-inspired" in the photo shoot as she braved the strong winds in Malibu beach.

In a later set, she rocked a pair of retro jeans that is high in the waist and paired with stripe long-sleeved turtle-neck. She then settled herself on a director's chair with polka dot sky blue blouse with pussy bow, the same retro blue jeans and black sandals.

"Maleficent" star Elle Fanning, who earlier signed on to become the face of Miu Miu, told Marie Claire that she's fully conscious about the way she dresses. Elle Fanning will appear in the May 2014 issue of Marie Claire.

"I like to dress my age. You don't want to look too old when you're not, or too young when you're not," she said.

Meanwhile, the "Maleficent' star's sister Dakota Fanning in an interview with the Independent, said that while they are both working in the same industry, she really doesn't meddle with the professional decisions of "Maleficent" star Elle Fanning.

"I don't feel responsible for her in her work, but I feel protective in her personal life, just because I'm her older sister and she'll always be my younger sister," she said, adding that she doesn't see any reason to "enforce my opinion on her."

Elle Fanning and sister Dakota Fanning also don't talk about acting whenever they are together, but the "War of the Worlds" actress said that she tries to make good decisions for her younger sister to emulate.

"I guess inadvertently I am a role model to her," Dakota Fanning said.
