Want some "Prometheus 2"spoilers? Here's one major one: Sigourney Weaver will apparently play a clone of herself even before she played a clone hybrid of herself and an alien in "Alien Resurrection."

"Prometheus 2" is believed to be the prequel of what transpired in the original "Alien" and Fangoria reported that the new Ridley Scott film will reunite some of the characters fans have come to like in the "Alien" franchise.

The website "has learned that Weaver will once again be playing a clone of her Ripley character, and that time travel will be essential to the plot" of "Prometheus 2." "Other actors from the franchise may return as well in some capacity," Fangoria added.

In the "Alien" franchise, Sigourney Weaver played Ellen Ripley whose close connection to the alien came to a deadly conclusion in the fourth and final part "Alien Resurrection." The new version of Ripley, who's now integrated with alien DNA, has better reflexes and more strength.

In "Prometheus 2," Michael Fassbender will play multiple "David" androids, which means there will be more than one Michael Fassbender on screen at the same time, according to an individual familiar with the project," TheWrap said.

After it was reported that the film's final storyline has encountered some problems, the timeline has been rushed from the original date of March 2016 to next year.
