Will Taylor Swift's career soon experience a downfall because of her allegedly controlling parents? While the 'Red' lyrics singer might be 24 years already, a recent report from Page Six claims that her parents, Scott and Andrea, are hurting their daughter's reputation because of their character towards other people.

The report claims that several members of Swift's staff including her business managers and publicist have filed their resignation letters because of the couple. Even workers at their family-owned company, 13 Management, are gradually leaving the Swifts because of the couple's treatment of the employees.

"Taylor's parents are incredibly difficult to deal with. Their expectations are enormous, and they are very hard to please. They want to pay as little as possible and treat people like s***, because they think those people are lucky to have the chance to work with a superstar like Taylor," said one insider.

Another insider has nothing but praises for the blonde beauty but for him, her career might be jeopardized if her parents continue with their attitude: "Taylor's parents think they can do things better, and what makes things complicated is that they no longer live together. Taylor is incredibly smart and professional, but at some point she's going to need her parents to stop, before it turns into a total Katherine Heigl 'momager' situation."

Taylor Swift's parents are separated yet they have no plans of cementing such separation for fear that their daughter's career might be affected.

Swift's team is yet to comment about the accusations against Scott and Andrea.
