"Bones" season 9 episode 21 spoilers are released and Agent Booth (David Boreanaz) is facing a life-altering decision as a huge promotion could mean uprooting his entire family. Next episode called "The Cold in the Case" is also a welcome change as the series has become "extremely formulaic," according to one entertainment news blog.
Agent Booth is up for a huge promotion after acing his FBI competency tests during the last episode, but is it worth it?
The "Bones" season 9 episode 21 spoilers released by Fox has the Jeffersonian team investigating the head-scratching case of a woman whose body was dumped in the swamp. But it's no ordinary murder as she was once cryogenically frozen which leads Agent Booth and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) to a cryogenic facility where the personal life of the victim is revealed.
Meanwhile, Matt Carter of CarterMatt blog said that fans of the show have noticed that while "Bones" season 9 has been mostly fun, the show has become extremely formulaic has of late.
"There is a case every week, a couple of little stories around the Jeffersonian, and every episode ends with a nice little button that is all about the Booth-Brennan relationship," he wrote. "We're ready for something that brings another feeling or two to the table."
That's the reason why "Bones" season 9 episode 21 is a welcome change because it could provide David Boreanaz with a great material to work with on the show.
"After all, both Pelant and the Ghost Killer were considered Brennan adversaries first and foremost, and this is going to be a little bit different than anything that we've come across all year long," CarterMatt said.
"Bones" season 9 episode 21 spoilers will also deal with Cam (Tamara Taylor) hesitating to meet Arastoo's (Pej Vahdat) father (Braeden Marcott) and mother (guest star Shohreh Aghdashloo) for the first time.
