Many are wondering if Victoria Beckham and David Beckham's house will be a witness to a grandiose affair. After all, Mrs. Beckham will be celebrating her 40^th birthday this coming April 17.

However, as opposed to her oftentimes glamorous image, the Spice Girls member will reportedly opt for an intimate party. This immediately squashes rumors that Victoria Beckham and Davic Beckham will have a lavish showbiz party.

As per The Daily Mirror, Posh asked her best friends Eva Longoria and hairdresser Ken Paves to come up with an intimate party to be held in a restaurant near her home in Los Angeles, California. The activities to be included in the party are still unknown.

"It's a dinner party rather than a full-on lavish party because she made it quite clear she wanted something more low-key," said the source who hinted that the 'Wannabe' songstress would rather spend her special day with her family and close friends.

Apart from her two party organizers, the insider claims that some of the Beckham neighbors are coming along: "Ken and Eva are great friends and have taken charge of organising things - and she's got some other lovely friends who live nearby and are coming along."

Despite Posh's penchant for simplicity, it will not stop her husband from doing something special to mark her 40^th year. According to Mail Online, the former athlete will be planning something big for the occasion.

David and Victoria Beckham have been married since 1999. They have four children namely Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.
