Nick Carter Wedding Day Ditched By Brother Aaron Carter; ‘I’m All About You’ Singer ‘Felt Awful’ For Missing The Ceremony

Nick Carter's wedding day, regardless of how grandiose it is, lacked one significant person - the groom's brother Aaron Carter. While many wondered if the siblings were fighting, the younger Carter finally cleared the air and explained the reason for his absence.

As per previous reports, the 'I'm All About You' singer has a commitment at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C. The commitment was reportedly ironed our prior to Nick Carter's wedding date confirmation. Nonetheless, this does not mean that the absentee brother did not try his best to make it to the ceremony.

"There was a team of six people who worked to put together a plan to get him to Santa Barbara by the reception so he could at least participate in the celebration. He was on his way when his US Airways plane experienced mechanical difficulties in Pittsburgh and they became grounded there. So he never made it. Aaron was legitimately busting his a** to make it to his brother's wedding. He felt awful and had every intention of being there," claimed one insider.

Hilary Duff's former beau even posted an Instagram photo of him which expressed his frustration: "Really p****d off that I missed my brothers wedding today.. i hope he doesn't hate me .. I tried to get there... I'm sorry bro @nickcarter#technicalProblems,"

Despite the absence of his brother, Nick Carter still had a wonderful time with his Backstreet Boys brothers AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, and Howie Dorough.

Nick Carter likewise couldn't stop himself for sharing the wonderful news to his Twitter and Instagram followers: "Happiest day of my life 4-12-2014 I married my best friend and woman of my dreams. Lauren Kitt Carter honeymoon time!"

Nick Carter's wedding has been reportedly taped for an exclusive reality TV special.
