Zac Efron's girlfriend in real life might be Halston Sage. Such is the content of recent reports which link the 'Neighbors' actor to his co-star. As per one of E! Online's insiders, Zac Efron and Halston Sage are "definitely an item".

The 26-year-old actor recently took home the 'Best Shirtless Scene' award during the MTV Movie Awards 2014. When he received his award, he was left with no choice but to prove why he deserved the award. Award presenter Rita Ora unbuttoned his shirt prompting Efron to do some poses which highlighted his muscles. Though Efron looked uncomfortable, he couldn't contain his happiness because of the cheering crowd.

He later thanked Ora on Twitter for initiating the move: "@RitaOra Thanks for such a bold move. I don't know if I could've done that on my own."

As for Efron and Sage, the source added that "they were seeing each other a bit during filming of their movie together and ever since he went to rehab they got a lot closer. Her friends love him and say he is so sweet. He's really good to her."

The two were already seen watching a Los Angeles Lakers game this month. However, it is unclear yet whether they were already an item that time for Sage was previously dating 'Glee' actor Chord Overstreet.

Apart from Overstreet, Sage has been linked as well to 'Dancing with the Stars' crooner and 'Big Time Rush' crooner James Maslow. Efron, on the other hand, has been previously linked to 'Mortal Instruments' star Lily Collins who reportedly helped him during his rehabilitation stint.
