Weeks after Miley Cyrus' dog Floyd's death, the 'Adore You' lyrics songstress still feels lonely. On April 1, her Alaskan Klee Kai died because of an undisclosed reason. She shared her sadness on Twitter by describing Floyd's passing away as the "second worst day" of her life.

In an attempt to help her recover, mother Tish Cyrus surprised the 'So Undercover' actress with a breand new puppy named Moonie. However, regardless of how adorable the new pooch is, Cyrus opted to give away Moonie.

On Twitter, Liam Hemsworth's former girlfriend expressed her gratitude to the dog: "Moonie, thank you for giving me so much love, comfort & peace. It's just too soon for me right now. #missingmoonie"

When asked about the reason for her decision, Cyrus said that Floyd's death left her scared to have small dogs again. During her 'Bangerz' tour in Boston, Massachusetts, Cyrus wept on stage while singing Fleetwood Mac's 'Landslide', Floyd's favorite song.

More than her brow-raising antics, Cyrus is likewise known to be a great lover of dogs. She even purchased a sports utility vehicle for her pooches.
